testimonials
At Troppo Paediatrics, we value the perspectives of the families and educators we partner with. These testimonials reflect real experiences with our services. We're privileged to be part of each child's journey and grateful to those who have shared their stories. While every child's path is unique, these experiences offer a glimpse into our collaborative, flexible approach to supporting children's development.
“Sophie is a warm, compassionate and experienced OT. Sophie is very engaging with the children, and respectful to all other children in the classroom. She is able to connect easily with children and build ongoing trustful relationships. Sophie collaborates closely and regularly with families and educators, and her sessions are always responsive to the children’s needs and environmental circumstances. Communication is always transparent, and Sophie is always welcoming of questions and support. Sophie is so lovely to work with, and we always look forward to learning from her every week!”

“Sophie is simply amazing. She’s so great with our son and his sister. She’s flexible, patient, understanding and works around our schedule when need be. She truely goes above and beyond what I thought an OT could/does do, and we always feel better and more confident at the end of every session.
She’s also loved by all our childcare/kinder; we recently started a new sessional kinder and the teachers couldn’t stop raving about her after her first visit.

”From the moment we connected with Troppo Paediatrics, we knew we were in safe hands. Getting to know both Mac and Sophie has been such a positive experience—they bring warmth, expertise, and genuine care to every interaction.
They have created a wonderful, safe environment where our family feels supported and understood. Their approach isn’t just about providing help in the moment; it’s about putting frameworks in place that allow our child—and our whole family—to grow with confidence.
We are so grateful for the difference Troppo Paediatrics has made in our journey!”

“Mackenzie supports both our children across home and school. Our four year old has a developmental delay and our eight year old is neurodivergent and Mackenzie's individual support for both has been a huge blessing for our family. Our children regularly ask if they will see Mackenzie this week at home or kinder/school and enjoy each session. Mackenzie is kind, fun and professional, going out of her way to ensure we are receiving the help and support we need.”

“At 18 months old, our son was diagnosed with developmental delay, and we were connected with NDIS. Soon after, we began working with Sophie at Troppo Paediatrics for OT support.
Her down-to-earth nature and professional expertise made her the perfect fit for our quirky little guy and our family.
From the start, she assessed his skills, identified focus areas, and helped us set informed NDIS-aligned goals. After each session, she provides detailed records with goals, educator feedback, observations, and tailored strategies—so thorough that even our paediatrician was highly impressed.
Beyond therapy, Sophie has upskilled his daycare educators, facilitated meetings with the centre and followed up on his inclusion funding, creating a more inclusive environment where he now thrives.
Watching her bond with our son is heartwarming. As a family, we truly feel she is invested in his development, which is everything we could hope for in a therapy provider.

“We cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible work Sophie and Mackenzie have done for our kinder children. The girls have not only assisted us with their professional knowledge, but also impressed us with their ability to connect with children - their patience and genuine care have made a world of difference for the family, the teaching team and the children.
When they first started occupational therapy in our kinder setting, the children struggled with sensory processing, emotion regulation, participation and transition between different routines. Sophie and Mackenzie took the time to truly understand the children's individual needs and tailored each session to meet these needs in a fun and engaging way. The children looked forward to every session, and we have seen a visible progress on the children's learning and development. I still remember those small conversations we shared after each session. Sophie and Mackenzie were just like parts of our teaching team who not only contributed their professional insight and strategies but also gave us lots of emotional support.
I'm so thankful for the girls' dedication and expertise. With their ongoing partnership, I am more confident to work with the neurodivergent children and to see them thrive along their journey."
